Snurple Purple Micro Challenge @ Caardvarks

Over at Caardvarks they are having a crazy fun Snurple Purple (luv that name) Micro Challenge. My first thought was " I don't have anything purple"! Well I dug thru my mountains of papers and I did find some purple stuff. LOL It is amazing how much paper I actually have - OK I'll admit it - I'm a paper addict : )

I used DCWV cardstock along with some Karen Foster papers & Stickers and a Prima flower which is actually orange.

CPS #58 - Mother's Day Card

Here is my attempt at the CPS sketch this week:

I used K & Co. Urban papers with some Prima flowers.

Can you believe that March is over? Where does the time go? Now if only we could get some warm weather and no more snow, it has been a long winter!

Have a good week everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog : )

Homegrown Challenge @ Caardvarks

I finally finished my card for the homegrown challenge at Caardvarks.

I used a vintage label cut from an old calendar (see it pays to keep old calendars! lol) along with some Cosmo Criket paper and a K & Co. journaling tag and some ribbon.

This was a fun challenge!

Love!

One of my favorite Blogs I frequent often is Beatriz Jennings - she totally inspires me!

Beatriz Jennings has a challenge on her website to create a card or altered item with the following :

*Use soft colors
*Use some Felt or fabric
*Buttons
*Flowers
*Rub ons
*Some chipboard

I used some Chatter Box paper - Rosey Villa Dots with some Flower Lace (I used this as my fabric), buttons from foof-a-la, flower from Heidi Swapp and chipboard heart cut out with my cuttlebug, and Heidi Grace Love rub-on.

So much fun : )

Bloom

My Mother-In-Law had surgery last week and is in the hospital recovering. She as well as the rest of us are anxious for her to come home. We are all praying for a speedy recovery.

I thought I'd make something to cheer her up. I bought this photo clip holder from the dollar store and used up some of my Basic Grey Two Scoops making flowers to put on the clips. I then used some carboard from the box our new BBQ came in - great recycling : )
