Card Patterns Sketch #23 and a Woot :)

Well yesterday I was so excited to learn that I made it to the top 5 for Sketch #22 at Card Patterns - Woot Woot - I was so excited, there was so many gorgeous cards thanks so much for picking me :)

For this week's sketch - I used some yummy new papers I bought while I was away last week by 3bugs in a rug - these little birdies make me giggle : ) The sketch was a blast to work with and the DT's card are amazing - I hope you go take a look!

Another Birthday Card :)

Today I was able to play along with Kazan's Sketch #30 over at 2Sketches4U. It was such a fun sketch to work with. All the DT's creations were gorgeous and so inspiring : )

Love card from CardPatterns Sketch #22

I had some time today to play with Carla's wonderful sketch at CardPatterns. It totally inspired me and the DT's cards were also very inspiring - you girls rock :)


As I made this card today I was watching Michael Jackson's memorial. As I watched this I reflected on my younger years and how much his music was a part of my youth, watching the Thriller video on "Friday Night Videos" which I stayed up until midnight to watch and practicing the dance routine from the video with my friends. Wearing the white sequenced glove to school dances and doing the moon walk - lots of good memories.

CPS Sketch 123 - Good Times!

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! It was a great weekend even though the weather wasn't the greatest it was sure nice to have a long weekend!

Having Fun this Sunday!

I love Sunday's! I was up early today and was able to make some cards from some fabulous sketches!

My first card is made from CardPatterns wonderful sketch from Kristen Swain this week - it was so much fun to work with and the Designers made some wonderful cards, hope you stop by and check it out!

The second card was made from this week's sketch over at CPS sketch 122. I loved this sketch as well clean and simple : ) The Designer's made some gorgeous cards - hope you check them out you won't be disappointed!

Gallery Idol 2009!

Ok, I have neglected this blog for tooooooo long! I'm back and I'm sooooo excited about this: Paper Crafts annual Gallery Idol Contest for details check it out here.

Last year I was to afraid to submit a card and play along. But this year I'm throwing caution to the wind and sumbitting some cards. The theme is Happy Birthday which is great because I love making Birthday cards : ) Check out all the beautiful cards HERE.
