Card Patterns Sketch #12

Another Sunny beautiful day! Hope you all are enjoying the same kind of weather!

2Sketches4U - Home is where my Mom is

With Mother's Day fast approaching when I first laid eyes on Laura's sketch over at 2Sketches4U I know exactly what kind of card I was going to make.

I have been saving this HOME Bingo card for awhile now and I finally found the perfect use for it : ) Laura's sketch and card was so pretty it totally inspired me. The DT did an amazing job with it as well.

Beautiful Sunny Saturday!

What a beautiful sunny spring day here it is actually feeling a little warm : )

I have been away from my blog for some time due to computer problems and being busy.

I wanted to post my card for this week's sketch at Sketches by Tamara. Another fun sketch from Tamara and the DT has some gorgeous cards posted this week - I hope you come visit and play along :)

This week I went to see the Fabulous and Very Talented Johnny Reid - I just love this man's music I have dubbed him my Rod Stewart version of Country music - although he shouldn't just be labeled country there is a very pop/folk/jazz and blues feel to his music, and he isn't hard on the eyes!! lol The concert was absolutely one of the best I have been to and he engages the crowd with his energy and his voice is just mesmerizing. LOVE YA JOHNNY!!!!!

Another Mother's Day Card : )

It is such a dark dreary day here it was hard to get a good picuture of my card that I made using Kazan's sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 U. This was such a fun sketch to work with and the DT made some goregous cards - they are truly inspiring.

Well it is officially Spring here but for some reason Mr. Winter is just not ready to leave, He left us some more white stuff this morning!

I had a chance to make a card tonight and I used the new sketch from Card Patterns. This sketch was so much fun, the DT's cards are gorgeous! There is a great prize up for grabs from Paper Blooms.

Snurple Purple Micro Challenge @ Caardvarks

Over at Caardvarks they are having a crazy fun Snurple Purple (luv that name) Micro Challenge. My first thought was " I don't have anything purple"! Well I dug thru my mountains of papers and I did find some purple stuff. LOL It is amazing how much paper I actually have - OK I'll admit it - I'm a paper addict : )

I used DCWV cardstock along with some Karen Foster papers & Stickers and a Prima flower which is actually orange.

CPS #58 - Mother's Day Card

Here is my attempt at the CPS sketch this week:

I used K & Co. Urban papers with some Prima flowers.

Can you believe that March is over? Where does the time go? Now if only we could get some warm weather and no more snow, it has been a long winter!
